We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced nurse who has a keen interest in Reconstruction and Functional Benign bladder to join our existing clinical nurse specialists in urology. You will be working closely with the multidisciplinary team that provides surgical treatment to people with bladder problems. You will demonstrate understanding of benign bladder conditions, care and management and to be able to have skilled and sensitive conversations. You will have a vital role in supporting service development of our diagnostic clinics (Video/ urodynamic, ambulatory urodynamics, and PTNS) treatment pathways, developing and undertaking nurse lead clinics. You will work in collaboration with other specialist clinical nurses and medical teams. We are committed in career progression, development and well being of our staff. You will be offered mentorship or clinical supervision. The post holder is responsible for the provision of high quality, patient focused care to functional and reconstructive urology patients. Responsible for assessing, developing and implementing specialist nurse led procedure clinic. Responsible for providing specialist advice and support to patients attending benign bladder clinic, post reconstruction procedures and functional bladder conditions. Responsible for supporting other member of staff and working as a part of multidisciplinary team. Support ward team to achieve enhance recovery and early discharge for sub speciality post-opl patients.
